I’m primarily self-taught, although I’ve had a little guidance in my time. My work has evolved into a unique colorful style, and is painterly and fresh. I work in acrylic paints and I use layers of color to bring the subject of a painting alive. This is perfect for me because I love to paint life with personality - people and animals.

I was born in Portsmouth, England in 1970. I have been creating artwork since I could hold a crayon. You can probably imagine me inside the house on all those rainy days drawing and creating! I moved to the United States in 1983. I now live in North Carolina with my daughter Sophia, my musical roommate Sean, my cat, Katherine(Kitty), and Sophia's rabbit, Ella.
